| Project Title: | SRU Flute Ensemble Performing at National Convention |
| Project Description: |
The SRU Flute Ensemble will be performing at the 2021 National Flute Association Convention to be held in Washington D.C.. The ensemble, comprised of both music majors and non-music majors, will be performing compositions by new composers, including SRU music theory professor Stephen Barr and SRU alumni Clint Bleil. We typically receive donations from our three spring concerts, but since those concerts are now cancelled, valuable donations from this event will go toward assisting students in traveling to the convention and sustaining our group so we can continue to attend similar event. |
