Project Title: Slippery Rock University Winter Guard
Project Description: The Slippery Rock University Winter Guard is finishing their 7th season and beginning to prepare for our 8th! As we continue to grow, we are asking for help with reaching our goal of $4,000. The resources that we will need will help to ensure the success of our current and future members of the organization.

The money that we receive will be used immediately and for many different things. We need to cover the costs of equipment such as rifles, sabres, and flags. We will also use the money to keep up with equipment maintenance and our uniforms. Any money that we raise will also help us to cover any remaining travel fees for our out of town regionals that we attend.

This year, we have attended 3 WGI regionals in Philadelphia. Indianapolis, and Pittsburgh. Money will help to cover the costs of busses for transportation, hotels, and food for these types of trips. Attending these competitions is beneficial for our organization because it gives us exposure and puts our name out to people all over the country. We hope to better ourselves as an organization and hopefully attempt to gain future students and members while traveling. Next year, we hope to travel to Dayton, Ohio for WGI world championships. The more exposure we can get now, the better prepared we will be for worlds.
