Interviews and new jobs can be stressful, but even more so if you don't have the right thing to wear. The Rock Ready Professional Clothing Pop Up Shops give SRU students the chance to look their best for the next internship/job interview or the first day on the new job. Twice each semester, SRU students are invited to register for FREE professional clothing. In 2018-19, 145 students have already been given professional clothing through this program You can help ensure SRU student are Rock Ready! Dress for Success, in partnership with the Student Nonprofit Alliance and Dress for Success Butler, provides students women's clothing including a business suit, a dress or other professional outfit, shoes and accessories such as handbags, jewelry and personal care items. Rock A Tie, in partnership with the Student Nonprofit Alliance, Rock Productions, Henderson Dry Cleaners and Jos. A Banks Clothiers, provides students two dress shirts and two ties. This Giving Day project will provide funds to purchase clothing in sizes we do not have on hand, additional accessories including dress socks and personal care items for the Rock A Tie Pop Up Shop as well as accessories for Dress for Success Pop Up Shop. |
