The Martha Gault Art Gallery programs ten exhibitions per year. Our programs provide a broad perspective of the contemporary art discourse by installing exhibitions in a wide variety of media and formats by artists at all stages in their careers. Students, alumni, faculty and professional artists are featured throughout the academic year, bringing original art exhibitions to the SRU campus. However, art students struggle to pay for art supplies which may exceed the cost of a textbook in each semester. "Art Supplies for Art Students" will provide $100 for art supplies to ten Art Majors. These stipends will be awarded by an independent judge, based on merit of artwork. The Annual Student Art Exhibition award ceremony will be held April 2, 2019 in Martha Gault Art Gallery. |
