| Project Title: | Other Side of the Desk Project |
| Project Description: | Students who are seeking teacher certification face a number of financial challenges that other students may not. They are required to renew clearances each year, take certification tests, purchase professional attire, travel to school sites and apply for certification, just to name a few of those unique expenses. These extra costs that can easily total more than $1000.00 over the course of a 4-year program. They can delay or even halt a student's progress from moving from the student side of the desk to the teacher side. Please consider giving to the "Other Side of the Desk" Project so that a discretionary fund can be created to support a well-deserving future teacher, remove a barrier, as they take that journey to the other side of the student desk. |
